Central Jakarta Inspects Public Adherence to Health Protocols in Traditional Markets

Joint personnel who were led by Central Jakarta Acting Mayor, Irwandi, carried out sudden inspection in traditional markets and restaurants located in Johar Baru and Cempaka Putih Sub-districts on this Monday (1/11).

He also asked local urban village and sub-district heads to immediately reactivate monitoring post in their areas to minimize COVID-19 cases which are currently increasing.

"Residents who don't wear masks outside their homes will be given strict sanctions. They can be penalized for cleaning water channels instead of sweeping roads, thus they can be more discipline in implementing the regulations," he asserted.
